While the bar may seem appealing from the exterior , what I discovered behind its threshold was appalling and beyond comprehension .

The ground was covered in grime , and a pungent odor of stale beer and filthy restrooms polluted the entire bar . Reeking of a mixture of ammonia , decay and sickness . The main bar, which should be the main attraction of any pub, was littered with unwashed glassware and litter that looked like it hadn’t been touched in ages . The toilet was in even worse condition — clogged , with a shattered handle and walls stained in what I can only assume was human excrement .

During my time there, I saw how uneasy several female patrons seemed around Cornwell.
